Saturday Morning on Royalston Common is coming up on June 1st

The Village School is a non-profit, tax exempt independent school, receiving no funds from the state or federal government for operations.

Tuition is comparatively low; donations provide financial aid for needy families and keep the school thriving. Donations in all forms- whether building materials, donations of skilled labor or simply money, help the school focus on its mission: children!

The Village School Financial Aid Endowment Fund

Providing for the Future

The Village School aims to be accessible to all families, regardless of income. In order to do serve all families, financial aid is essential.

With an initial gift of $500,000 in 2020, the Village School Financial Aid Endowment fund was established as a means to provide financial aid for needy families without depleting the operating budget. In order for the fund to be effective and dispense yearly interest only, it needs to grow to over one million. Then 5% (earned interest) can be dedicated each year to providing needed financial aid, while the principal continues to grow.

Donations are greatly appreciated. Please think of a legacy gift, either through a will or a recurring gift. Talk to your financial advisor about different ways to make tax deductible gifts, now and after death. Gifts to this fund will only be used to provide financial aid.

Thank you for helping to make the Village School education accessible to all families.

Checks can be sent to The Village School 253 S. Royalston Rd. Royalston MA 01368

Annual Fund

Your donation to the Annual Fund has a direct impact on the school, keeping tuition low, making Financial Aid possible and keeping the school fully funded so children can flourish. Please send a check to The Village School or click the button below to donate online.

Pancake Breakfast & Silent Auction

Once a year, Village School parents host Saturday Morning on Royalston Common, on the common in Royalston, usually the first Saturday in June.

The morning includes a pancake breakfast, a silent auction, the Millers River Morris Men dancing, a live birds of prey presentation and much more. This fundraiser is dedicated to improvements to the Village School buildings.

Coffee Fundraiser

If you drink coffee, you can buy fresh coffee, whole or ground, monthly, online at the school website. You pay the same price or less than you would in the store for this high quality, locally roasted coffee. The coffee is delivered to the school a week later, and is waiting for you in the hallway.
